It is fast becoming identified with efforts to end the vicious cycle of domestic abuse and promote violence free living for all women.
The Daisy of Hope campaign is held during the month of May – in the weeks surrounding Mother's Day – and involves the sale of plastic daisy pins. Daisy pin boxes can be found at businesses, retail outlets and public facilities throughout the community.
Each year, an increasing number of shelters in Ontario participate in the campaign, helping it to grow and to ensure its success.
